FAQ
Straight answers, no jargon.
The things people ask first. Each answer stands on its own, so you can read just the one you need.
Getting started.
What does DevRaxo do?
DevRaxo is a software house. We build websites, web and mobile apps, CRMs and integrations, AI automation, voice agents and launch creative. Senior engineers design and build each project, AI runs the repetitive parts, and you own the code and the accounts at handover.
How do I start?
Tell us what you need in your own words, by talking to Raxo, using the quote tool or sending a short form. A person reads every brief, and for most projects we send back a free mockup within one working day of your brief, so you can see it before you commit.
What is the free mockup?
A visual or working sketch of your idea, made by our team, so you can react to something real. It is free, there is no obligation, and you approve it before any quotation is confirmed.
Who do I actually deal with?
A real person on our sales and delivery team. Raxo, our AI agent, takes the first conversation and writes the brief, but a human reads it, builds the mockup and agrees the quotation with you.
Price and payment.
How much does it cost?
Starting prices for a first phase are published on the pricing page: from £900 for creative, £1,900 for a voice agent, £1,900 for AI automation, £1,900 for a CRM and £1,500 for a website or app. Packaged solutions start from £590. A person confirms the final figure after the mockup is approved.
Is the price flexible?
Pricing is flexible: we quote around your needs and budget for a defined scope. If the scope changes, we price the change before doing it. Later phases are scoped from what we learn.
Do you charge monthly fees?
Only for things that run: hosting, voice and message usage, monitoring and support. Care plans start at £99 a month and are optional. The code and accounts are yours whether or not you take one.
Can I pay in stages?
Yes. Projects are paid in milestones tied to delivery, so you only pay for work you have seen.
Building with us.
How long does a project take?
A website or CRM first phase usually takes three to five weeks, a voice agent about two, an AI workflow three to four, and a launch film two to three. You see a prototype in the first week.
Do I own what you build?
Yes. Source code, documentation, hosting, domains and keys are transferred to you at handover, and any monthly support is a choice, never a dependency.
What technology do you use?
Mainstream, well-supported tools chosen for your needs — typically TypeScript, Python and PostgreSQL on a major cloud, with Shopify, WordPress or HubSpot where they are the better fit. We explain every choice in plain language.
Can you work with our existing team or suppliers?
Yes. We often pair with in-house developers, agencies and existing systems, and we document everything so others can take over comfortably.
Trust and data.
Is my data safe?
We minimise what we hold, restrict access by role, keep audit trails and agree data handling in writing. Our own site sets no cookies and loads nothing from third parties when you visit; the voice agent connects to its speech provider only when you choose to start a conversation. We do not claim certifications we do not hold.
Do you sign NDAs and data-processing agreements?
Yes, ours or yours.
Are the case studies real clients?
The ones labelled “Built by us” are real products we run. The ones labelled “Concept build” are fictional brands we designed to show what a build looks like, with modelled numbers and the assumptions shown. We do not present either as client results.
Which languages do your agents support?
Our voice and chat agents work in any language your customers speak. English, Urdu and Arabic are the ones we test most; for any other language we test with native speakers before launch and report the results honestly, including where accuracy is lower.
About the AI.
Is it built by AI?
No. People engineer it and AI helps run it. Senior developers are accountable for the architecture and the code, and AI handles volume and repetition inside the system they designed, with a person on every decision that carries risk.
Will callers know they are speaking to an AI?
Yes. Our agents say what they are and never pretend to be people. Anyone can ask for a human at any point and the agent transfers the call.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
Agents answer only from information you approve and are designed to say they do not know rather than guess. Anything consequential is escalated to a person, and every conversation is logged so you can review it.
Can I talk to your AI agent first?
Yes. Raxo is on every page of this site. It speaks any language you do, and it is the same technology we build for clients.
